About us
Sri Nrithya Lakshana Dance School is founded by Ms. Lakshmi Karthik,
a bharathanatyam and Kathak dancer & teacher.
- It aims to provide training, examination, performance and propagation of Indian classical dance & art tradition.
- It offers certificate and diploma courses in Bharathanatyam and Kathak with its own credentials.
- SNL was founded in 2010 at Palakkad, Kerala. Bangalore center of SNL was opened in 2015 at K. Narayanapura Bangalore.
- SNL is an institutional member of international dance council CID / UNESCO.
- SNL operates under Lakshana Creative Education Center.
- Classes conducted by professionally qualified teachers with a Well framed syllabus and curriculum with a class plan.
- Class is designed in a way that every student utilizes the full class in learning and practicing.
- Study materials are provided in the form of Audio/Video files & notes.
- Regular assessments are conducted and Certificate course is provided as a part of curriculum.
- Stage performances are organized for respective levels Ranga Pooja(Salanga Pooja), Nrithya Sandhya, Nrithya Margam , Rangapravesha(Arangetram).
- Students are encouraged to perform in other competitions , dance festivals etc.

Bharathanatyam
Bharathanatyam comes from southern India, from the state of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the most prominent Indian classical dance forms and it boasts over 2,000 years of lineage. SNL provides Bharathanatyam classes for kids & ladies with a well designed class plan.
Kathak
Native to north india, Kathak is an indian classical dance forms originated as a form of storytelling for portraying the epic tales from Hindu scriptures. Poetry was combined with rhythmic movement to aid in the worshipful storytelling. SNL provides kathak classes for kids & ladies with a well designed class plan.
